Why Reputation Management and Reviews are SO Important for your Local Business

When you think of Reputation Management, most likely the first thing that comes to mind is the amount of 5-star reviews your business has. Whether that is on Google, Facebook, Yelp, or a smaller niche site like Houzz or TripAdvisor, you no doubt think ‘Well, I’m doing okay, I have x number of reviews.’

You see, if you get a poor review, you have the opportunity to learn why that specific customer didn’t leave a better review for you.

If you are a solo entrepreneur, you get the chance to correct something that you did wrong, and work to make it better for your next client. If you have employees, you can use it as a training tool to make sure that employee knows that they may not have offered the best customer service to that customer.

Also, if you get a negative review, you can respond quickly to that customer, on either Google or Facebook, and the public, or your future prospective customers, can see how you deal with a negative review for your business.
Really, review management can provide you an incredible opportunity to grow your business.
